Sizing:  How should a swimsuit fit?
Swimwear is suppose to fit very tightly when it is dry.  Swimsuits can grow as much as a half  size when they are wet.     It is particularly important to order the correct size bottom to reduce the "baggy drawers" effect that you often see at the beach.  This is caused by wearing a suit to big.  A correctly fit swimsuit will have no wrinkles in it when it is worn dry. 
Please follow the directions below for accurate fitting . 

  1. For Tops Measure everything to the nearest (1/2) inch except the tankini length, waist and hip

  2. For easier documentation please use: pencil/pen & scrap paper  for recording your measurements.  (easier when ordering)

  3. We have a Tape Measure which you can print off (see menu bar at the top)

  4. PLEASE WEAR YOUR MOST COMFORTABLE UNDERWIRE BRA (UNPADDED PREFERABLY) TO GET THE MOST ACCURATE ON BUST MEASUREMENT.

MEASURE - to the neasrest (1/2) inch except the Tankini length, waist and hip

CHEST

Measure around the back with the tape measure meeting at the front.   Make sure the tape measure slips under the arms and above the chest.   Make sure the tape measure is parallel to the floor in the back. Hold tape measure snugly without it digging in.

Measure over the fullest part of the breast using the nipples as guides.  Make sure the tape measure is straight across the back.  Take measurement snugly enough that the tape measure doesn't slip off the back

EXHALE WHEN TAKING MEASUREMENT-

this is critical as then there can be a discrepancy of about 3 inches!

 

Measure around the back and under the breast (ribcage) pull snugly.  This is where your your bra band sits.

TANKINI LENGTH

Measure from the under bust( bra band) down to whatever length you desire.  Make sure you are standing straight. Easiest standing in front of a mirror. Have someone help you if you cannot read the measurement.  Measure to the nearest inch
